OpenAI has launched 'ChatGPT for Financial Services,' a customized AI product for business designed for finance and investment professionals. This product provides financial practitioners—who perform financial research, financial modeling, and the creation of customized client materials—with a single environment that combines real-time premium financial data and the reasoning capabilities of GPT-6 Astra.

Built-in Premium Financial Data
The new product comes with built-in earnings call transcripts, financial statements, and corporate fundamental data from major providers such as Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News, and Crunchbase. Users can access this data immediately without the need to sign separate contracts or configure complex data connectors. Furthermore, through a citation feature, users can track and verify the figures and evidence used in the analysis down to specific tables or passages in the original documents.

Integration with Existing Subscriptions and Utilization of GPT-6 Astra
For companies already utilizing data subscriptions from S&P Capital IQ, LSEG, MSCI, Dow Jones Factiva, and Moody's, the product also supports shared login and permission integration. Additionally, the integrated GPT-6 Astra model leverages its information retrieval, financial reasoning, and artifact generation capabilities to understand financial documents and analyze figures, visualizing them as interactive charts or reports.

Security and Document Template Management
Through a dedicated management page, corporate administrators can distribute document templates and style guides for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, helping team members create valuation models or pitchbooks that align with internal company standards. Moreover, corporate business data is not used for model training by default, and the service operates based on the security and governance controls of ChatGPT Enterprise.
