Google Korea has announced updates to "Gemini Notebook," improving the way users organize and explore learning materials. Through this update, users can engage in real-time voice conversations via the mobile app based on source materials they have added, making it easier to organize complex concepts.

Mobile Voice Conversation and Audio Recording Features

Soon, users will be able to have real-time voice conversations with their notebooks in nearly 100 languages via Android and iOS mobile apps. All responses are provided based on source materials added by the user, allowing them to listen to step-by-step explanations or request further clarification via voice. Additionally, a new audio recording feature in the mobile app allows users to record live lectures and instantly capture thoughts on the go, with the resulting notes saved alongside the source materials.

Personalized Learning Environments and Short Video Overviews

In the Reports tab, users can generate interactive learning overviews that combine summaries, infographics, quizzes, and flashcards. Various quiz formats, including short-answer, multiple-choice, and fill-in-the-blank, have been added, and users can ask questions via chat about their results to identify weak areas. Furthermore, short video overviews of approximately 60 seconds can be created in over 80 languages, making it easier to understand and share complex formulas and concepts.

12-Month Free Benefit for Domestic University Students

Eligible university students in Korea will receive a one-year free subscription to Google AI Plus. This provides a usage limit twice as high as the basic plan.
